STAR MILD MUSIC presents JADE 2009

(JAKARTA ANNUAL DANCE MUSIC EVENT)

25 Nov 2009 - The first weekend of December 2009, will see the return of an unprecedented music event that encompasses a club festival, expo and music conference.

To be held between December 2 to 6, Jakarta will be transformed into a giant festival ground for clubbers, composers, publishers, DJs, label owners and other denizens of dance music.

Presenting over several of Jakarta’s best clubs for the 2^nd year now, STAR MILD MUSIC presents JADE 2009 featuring the diverse spectrum of dance music through Blowfish, Puro, Dragonfly, Domain, Centro, Immigrant, Barcode, and X2.

Joining STAR MILD MUSIC presents JADE 2009 on opening night on Dec 2 will be the force behind one of last year’s biggest club tunes, ‘The Cure and the Cause’, Fish Go Deep. Other acts set to make appearances are; American legendary House DJ/Producer Todd Terry who will play for Original Naro’s I Love House series, Juice Flava featuring X-press2 from UK, Number 1 VJ as voted by DJ Mag Addictive TV, Dutch top Techno producer Secret Cinema, Dutch Trancer Marcel Woods, Cult Blogger Jonty Skrufff. Singapore’s multiple DMC Champion DJ Inquisitive, one of SE Asia’s most globally acclaimed DJ Celeste, along with local heroes such as DJ Romy, Riri Mestica, Anton Wirjono, Naro, Ai Tumbuan, DJ Cream, Alanys Webber, and many more.

With the theme “Music and Technology”, STAR MILD MUSIC presents JADE 2009 aims to educate and elevate the dance music scene through the afternoon, during five-day expo and one-day mini conference on December 5^th at La Codefin. In line with STAR MILD MUSIC’s motto, ‘Ada Obsesi Ada Jalan’ STAR MILD MUSIC presents JADE 2009 is giving way to aspiring DJs and producers as well the general market, the insights on how the industry works and how to break it through discussion on topics ranging from making, publishing, marketing and selling music, which will be presented by several international and local panels. Other than that, networking opportunities, company showcases, and workshops for aspiring DJs and Producers will also be available for the registered denizens. The expo will also add the element of fun during the conference with products ranging from production software and DJ tools to video games and apparels.
