Description:DJ Shidy Moss is our very own homeboy who first hit the decks in 2003, galvanishing crowds with his elaborate slew of electro bleeps and beats. He's doing all that today, now backed with added experience and confindence. We question his nerved of steel.
How important was your first gig in shaping the way you perform today?
I was quite nervous when i was first approached by Tirso(also known as JNR) to perform on my frst gig at II Lido in late 2006. It was a very important gig for me as i was still very inexperienced. But with great support from close friends, my confidence was boosted, and today, i'Ve always managed keep it high. Confidence has always been the key to rocking set.
And what has been your best gig?
My best gig would have to be the DEJAVU Bali White Party as i was playing with three of the hottest and best Indonesian female DJs around! (Laughs)
You've done well with just three years experience..
I think i've been lucky and fortunate enough to be working with a brilliant team of people. I have an extremlely good manager, Remy Mitchell Low, who has tirelessly managed my schedules and got me to where i am today.
Aw. Any plans for an album soon?
I'm actually planning on producing something with Riri Mestica(Indonesia) from Spinach Records. Also, I will be part of Jet Seven International which is a DJ Agency that has formed all the top female Indonesia DJs by Johnson and Riri Djalil from DEJAVU Bali.
